  • Tuition fees paid for throughout the degree (excluding study abroad/placement years) plus an annual maintenance bursary of up to £10,000.
Eligibility breakdown
  • They must be resident in the UK, beginning their first undergraduate degree at Birkbeck in September 2026, on a programme based at the Bloomsbury campus (including online), assessed as a 'home' student for fee status, have an annual household income of no more than £35,000.
How to apply
  • Applicants need to complete an online application form and include a personal statement (no more than 700 words) covering why the scholarship benefits studies, how it helps achieve academic goals, how education benefits community/society, and academic/personal achievements.
