This scholarship will provide a maintenance stipend of £4,500 for three years of your course.

Eligibility

You must meet all of the following criteria to be considered for a scholarship: Be studying in Year 0 or Year 1 of a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Liverpool, commencing study in the 2026/27 academic year.
Be studying a programme within the University of Liverpool School of Biosciences.
If one or more parent is currently studying for their first degree or graduated from their first de.

Funding structure

This scholarship will provide a maintenance stipend of £4,500 for three years of your course. completing your application: To help us award the scholarship, we will ask for a personal statement of up to 4,000 characters.
We will ask you to confirm that: You have applied, been assessed for and expect to be in receipt of the maximum level of support from the Government through Student Finance England, for tuition fees and maintenance loans.
