- A postgraduate doctoral loan can help with course fees and living costs while you study a postgraduate doctoral course.
- If you are starting your course in the academic year 2026-2027, you can borrow up to £31,122.
Eligibility
- Eligible home fee-paying students can apply for a postgraduate doctoral loan from the UK government to help fund their studies.
- You will not be able to get a postgraduate doctoral loan if you already have a doctoral degree, or a qualification that’s equivalent or higher.
