  • We're offering a scholarship worth up to £17,500 for the duration of your course to overseas fee-paying students joining the University from a GEMS institution in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar or Egypt in September 2027.
Eligibility
  • You must commence your studies of an undergraduate degree at the University of Sheffield in September 2026.
  • All undergraduate degree courses are included except for Medicine (A100/A101) and Dentistry (A200).
  • You must be currently studying at a GEMS School at the point of application.

How to apply
  • The deadline to apply is 4pm (UK time) on Friday 2 April 2027.
  • Successful applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by 23 April 2027 and will need to accept the scholarship by 4pm (UK time) on Friday 7 May 2027 or the scholarship will be offered to another applicant.
  • Apply for a GEMS Scholarship To access the application form you will need to use your MUSE for applicants log in details (these will be sent to you shortly after you receive your course offer).
